British Columbia Issues 68 Invitations In New PNP Immigration Draw

British Columbia has conducted a new draw through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), issuing at least 68 invitations to apply.

The July 16 draw saw only category-based invitations issued.

The targeted draw addressed specific labour market demands in British Columbia. Each category within this draw had different minimum scores and invitation numbers, reflecting varying needs.

In the childcare sector, the minimum score was 94 points, with 9 invitations issued, highlighting a focused requirement for childcare professionals. The construction category required a minimum score of 95 points, with 10 invitations issued, indicating demand in the construction industry.

Healthcare professionals faced a higher minimum score of 104 points, with 14 invitations issued, emphasizing the critical demand in this field. The veterinary care category had the lowest minimum score of 80 points, with fewer than five invitations issued, pointing to a very targeted need for professionals in veterinary care.
